At Dettmore Home Improvements, we believe in transparent pricing and clear communication.
Depending on project size, we operate on either hourly billing or a cost-plus model for materials and trade partners only.

Service Work & Small Projects

Hourly Billing

• Field Technician: $120/hour

• Project Manager: $120/hour

Materials & Trade Partners:
Billed at Cost + 30%

This structure allows flexibility for smaller projects, repairs, and ongoing service needs.

Renovations & New Homes

For larger renovation projects, our pricing is structured as follows:

DHI Labor (Never Marked Up)

• Field Team Members: $100/hour

• Project Managers: $120/hour

Our labor is billed hourly and is not subject to cost-plus markup.

Materials & Trade Partners

(Cost-Plus Model)

All materials, subcontractors, specialty trades, equipment rentals, and vendor purchases are billed at cost plus the percentage below.

Project SizeOverhead & Profit (Materials & Trades Only)

$100K – $1M. 20%

$1M – $2M. 18%

$2M – $5M. 17%

$5M – $10M. 15%

What This Means

• Our labor rates are transparent and fixed.

• Markup applies only to materials and trade partners.

• You see real costs.

• As project size increases, markup percentage decreases.

• We do not hide overhead inside labor rates.
